Nina Subhas

Director of Operations

Nina oversees all Sullivan Street Bakery operations in New York.  She started in hospitality as a pastry chef and baker, and from there got into whole house management for counter service concepts, from bakery/cafes to pizza shops and specialty grocery in New York and LA.  She loves the conversational hospitality that happens across a counter.  She is sure there is no better way to start the day than with a good cup of coffee and a great croissant, nor is there a better snack/start to a meal than a schmear of cultured butter on sourdough.  She is passionate about sharing those small, beautiful moments with as many guests as possible, and thrilled to be a part of the team at Sullivan Street!  When not working, she can be found defending a jigsaw puzzle from her 3 curious cats, scouring the farmers market for a perfect piece of fruit, or sitting in the sun with a good glass of wine.
